Biography
Ken Dwijugiasteadi is a Senior Advisor at Ideatax, with progressive experiences in various organizations. He served as the 16th Director General of Taxation at the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia from 2015 to 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of taxation. He has held various positions at the Directorate General of Taxation, including as the Head of the Examination and Collection Division at the Jakarta Pusat Tax Office, the Head of the Examination and Collection Division at the Jakarta Special Tax Office, the Head of the East Java III Tax Office, and the Head of the Jakarta Special Tax Office.
One of the breakthrough tax policies of the Ken Dwijugiasteadi era was the enactment of Law No. 11 of 2016 on Tax Amnesty. This policy gave taxpayers the opportunity to declare or repatriate undeclared assets by paying a certain amount of redemption.
